Empty Lot – from dead corners to everyday places
Empty Lot turns forgotten city edges into spaces people actually use
We help cities, NGOs and communities quickly test low‑cost activations on
vacant lots and leftover spaces in informal areas — with residents in the lead,
not just on the photos.

Does this sound like your city or project?
Tick the boxes in your head — if any of these are true, we should talk.
-
✓
Empty or awkward spaces in informal areas are magnets for trash, fear or complaints.
-
✓
You have some budget, but not a simple, tested playbook to turn one site around fast.
-
✓
Big masterplans are moving slowly; you need visible wins within 6–12 months.
-
✓
You actually want residents involved beyond a token workshop photo.
If you nodded “yes” to at least one, our activation studio is probably relevant to you.
What we do in one pilot
- Choose one priority site with your team (lot, corner, in‑between space).
- Co‑design a simple use with local people (market, micro‑park, sport, learning, “whatever fits here”).
- Support a 4–8 week pilot and capture before/after stories and basic metrics.
Right now
Empty, fenced, slightly sketchy, mostly a place people rush past.
“Dead space”
After a pilot
Lit, used, with people sitting, playing, selling or just hanging out.
